Icon DBS (Pvt.) Ltd. was incorporated in Colombo, Sri Lanka in June 2006, to cater to a growing demand to integrate and homogenise the construction process through professional construction solutions. Our Board of Directors comprise senior construction professionals with almost a hundred years of industry experience amongst them.
We are a young construction company, with a vast bank of collective in-house experience. Our core strength lies in our explicit understanding of the design process and its application throughout the construction process. Construction engineering, design and management are all core competencies of our organisation and our core functions are to innovate with design and technology while managing the time, cost and quality of our construction projects.
WE deploy professionally qualified Architects, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and Technical Officers, and we are fully equipped to meet and exceed client expectations. Mr. K G D W Abeysundara BA
A senior construction professional with over 50 years experience as a contractor in the construction industry. Coming from the administrative service of Sri Lanka, Mr. Abeysundara owns a CIDA grade C3 construction company established over 35 years ago. The company undertakes large scale Government construction projects and is duly registered with all industry regulatory organisations.
Mr. Abyesundara is an entrepreneur who has expanded his business into the cleaning and maintenance industry as well as into real estate, in addition to his thriving construction business.
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Mr. R J Jeyanathan B.Arch., AIA (SL), MBA (Sri J.)
Counts almost 30 years of design, construction and management experience. Commenced private consultancy practice first in 1993 and proceeded to commence the construction company in 2006. He has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, in addition to being a Chartered Architect with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from New Delhi, India.
Mr. Jeyanathan heads design and construction operations in the company, and oversees management functions in addition.

Ms. Renuka Senanayake NCT Ad. Dip. (QS)
Counts over 30 years experience in the field of costing and estimation in the construction industry, with industry qualification. In addition, she has gained wide practical experience in leading construction companies prior to taking over duties in this company.
Ms. Senanayake heads costing, estimation and construction cost controls in the company in addition to her management functions.
